CSR was retained by Malachy Walsh & Partners to review the planning consent and Environmental Impact Statement obtained by RPS for a proposed harbour development in Bantry. CSR was asked to review the permitted phasing.

The proposed harbour development is set to provide a more sheltered harbour and marina with increased water depth. The development  will also provide a new quayside intended to promote fishing and tourism for the Bantry area.

In the review, CSR proposed changes to the approved scheme and reviewed the design options presented by Malachy Walsh & Partners. The changes would help the company to formulate an approach to the development that would be agreed with the Port of Cork.
