Job Description

Cunnane Stratton Reynolds is an award-winning national practice with offices in Dublin, Cork and Galway, offering full Landscape Architectural, Town Planning and Arboricultural services. We also offer services in the UK through our sister offices in London and Manchester. The practice has a broad and expanding portfolio of park/public open space design, masterplanning and public realm work, commercial and residential projects, landscape and countryside resource planning and landscape planning / impact assessment. We are currently looking to appoint an experienced and Senior Landscape Architect / Project Manager to join our friendly team. CSR would be interested in hearing from applicants keen to work in Dublin, Cork, or Galway.

The applicant should be a team player with good technical skills who wishes to be involved in the development of innovative, cost effective and buildable solutions in an environment that is collaborative, stimulating and challenging. The role is for self-motivated individual with good design detailing, site, and construction experience in hard and soft landscaping. The role offers significant potential for professional development and advancement, working on a wide range of landscape projects for a range of private and public sector clients.

You will have a Degree in Landscape Architecture, MILI or equivalent or eligible/working towards full membership,  at least 5-10 years’ experience with a strong emphasis managing and delivering projects through detailed design to site, excellent AutoCAD skills and a full driving licence.

You will demonstrate a technical expertise in order to be able to carry out the following job/project accountabilities:

  • Working as a Project Manager, project management responsibilities, including contractual, financial and programme management of projects through design, detailing and construction.
  • Establish strong working relationships with other members of the landscape team and internal teams across the business.
  • Clear communication, including the ability to write concise technical reports and to contribute to conference calls, meetings, and workshops.
  • Be client facing and respond to client requirements.
  • Produce or oversee the production of drawings and other technical documentation using appropriate software, with the necessary level of detail as required at various stages of development: strategies, conceptual design, detailed design and production information through to supervising implementation of works on site.  
  • Assist in compiling tender submissions and securing new work.  
  • Have the technical ability, knowledge, and competence to manage and provide guidance to teach and develop junior.  
  • Ability to work collaboratively and iteratively within a multi-disciplinary design team.  
  • Have a clear understanding of the design and construction process including contractual and statutory requirements such as BIM and BCAR process.
