CSR is pleased to announce that planning approval has been granted for a new adventure activity course by Zipit Forest Adventures Ltd at Rossmore Forest Park, Co. Monaghan. As planning consultants on this project, and others for Zipit, we are proud to support this exciting development that promises to bring unique outdoor experiences to the area.

Importantly, the project is sensitively designed to complement its surroundings on Rossmore Forest Park, Ireland's most visited forest park with over 357,000 visitors last year. The careful planning approach ensures that the new centre will integrate with the natural surroundings of Rossmore Forest Park, ensuring that the new centre will harmonise with the landscape and provide an environmentally sensitive, engaging outdoor experience.. The approved adventure course will feature a range of attractions, including aerial trekking zip lines, net courses, tubing courses and several ancillary activities. Additionally, the plans include a single-storey reception cabin, a single-storey staff welfare cabin, toilet facilities and associated site works.
Zipit Forest Adventures is a leading seasonal ropes business with locations across Cork, Dublin and Roscommon, as well as an office in Waterford. Following its acquisition by Cork-based Cool Runnings Events in 2021, Zipit has continued to grow as part of this family-owned business known for delivering fun and safe outdoor activities.

For CSR, securing planning approval for this project underscores our commitment to supporting innovative and community-focused developments that contribute to vibrant and dynamic outdoor recreation opportunities throughout Ireland.
