CSR was requested by Gannon homes and Wilson Architecture to provide planning advice in respect of a change to the use of a retail space to an office space, which was previously permitted under other references. CSR was also retained for the provision of an additional floor area as a mezzanine and other minor alterations.
These alterations include new signage and roof lights at the third floor podium roof level. The space is designed for general office use, business and technology use or office based industry use. The design was incorporated to support single users or multiple users with subdivisions.
CSR has worked with the client’s Architect in order to fully utilise the space and to address its mixed uses issue, in order to suitably plan and present a case for a more viable commercial scheme that meets community needs.
Permission has now been granted with change of use going ahead.
