BRIEF

Located just south of Long Mile Road in Walkinstown, southwest Dublin, the Elanora Court development is situated on a formerly underutilised grass field, enclosed by boundary walls and fences. To the north, a low wall and railings provide a visual and physical connection to Long Mile Road, enhancing both accessibility and streetscape appeal.

The site benefits from excellent connectivity to local amenities, with schools, community buildings and shopping facilities within easy walking distance.  

CONCEPT

A defining element of the Elanora Court project is its commitment to sustainable landscape design. The scheme places strong emphasis on habitat creation, biodiversity enhancement and the integration of Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SuDS). These features not only manage surface water responsibly but also support local ecosystems, transforming the site into a greener, more resilient urban space.

This thoughtful and environmentally conscious approach to development earned Elanora Court recognition at the 2024 Construction Industry Awards, where it received a prestigious award for innovation in sustainable landscape and drainage design.
