OVERVIEW

CSR was appointed by Friends First Life Assurance to provide strategic planning consultancy in support of a major redevelopment proposal at Blackrock Shopping Centre. The project site encompassed Enterprise House and lands on Georges Avenue, Rock Hill and Frascati Road, Blackrock.

SERVICE PROVIDED

CSR delivered comprehensive planning advice to support the demolition of the existing Enterprise House and the development of a new five-storey building with a gross floor area of 8,119.5 sq m. The proposed development allows for general office use, science and technology functions, and office-based industrial uses. As part of its role, CSR also provided First Party Appeal services, successfully defending the planning permission granted by Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown County Council at An Bord Pleanála.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary project team led by Lafferty Project Management, CSR contributed specialist expertise in planning strategy, application content, and overall planning coordination to deliver a robust and integrated planning service.
