CSR was retained by Dineen & Co to develop a landscape masterplan in conjunction with Murray O’Laoire Architects for a new urban centre mixed development in the grounds of the old Mungret College in Limerick, adjacent to Mungret Abbey.

Central to the masterplan was the creation of a new public park, satisfying the open space requirements of the development as a whole. In addition, smaller public open spaces and courtyards were created around local residences and offices.

The landscape design aimed to preserve and enhance a visual connection between the historic Mungret Abbey and architecturally significant Mungret College.

The park is now complete.
