OVERVIEW

CSR provided environmental, planning and visual impact advice for the demolition and redevelopment of a city-centre warehouse site in Cork. The permitted scheme delivers approximately 240,000 sq ft of high-quality mixed-use development, transforming a previously underutilised site into a major commercial destination. The project has since evolved into a significant employment hub and investment asset within the city centre.

CSR prepared the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and provided planning strategy, planning law and visual impact assessment services to support the application. Our approach focused on assembling a multidisciplinary team of specialists to rigorously assess potential impacts and ensure they were effectively addressed through design development and targeted mitigation measures. The project also involved extensive consultation and legal engagement with adjoining landowners and stakeholders to facilitate a robust and deliverable planning outcome.
