OVERVIEW

CSR were retained by Friends First Life Assurance Company to prepare a planning report in support of a full planning application for the refurbishment of Blackrock Shopping Centre. The project focussed on revitalising the centre through the introduction of a new façade and canopy, improving weather protection and enhancing the overall visitor experience. The proposed redevelopment aimed to modernise the shopping environment, creating a more cohesive layout and contemporary identity that supports existing tenants while attracting new occupiers and better serving the needs of the local community.

CSR was engaged as part of a wider project team led by Lafferty Project Management, delivering comprehensive planning consultancy services. This included the preparation of the planning report and the development of a clear planning strategy, supported by coordinated specialist inputs to ensure a robust and well-founded application.
