About

Callum is an Executive Planner at CSR, based in the Cork office. He joined CSR in 2023 and holds a Master’s in Planning and Sustainable Development and a BA (Hons) in Geography and Economics from University College Cork. He has experience across a wide range of public and private sector planning projects in Ireland and the UK, including residential, mixed-use, commercial, retail, industrial, infrastructure, tourism, leisure and heritage development.

He supports planning projects from early-stage research, site appraisal and planning strategy through to application preparation, lodgement, post-submission coordination, appeals and post-permission compliance. His work includes preparing planning statements, planning appraisals, Part V proposals, social infrastructure audits, childcare assessments and supporting documentation, as well as coordinating technical and environmental inputs including EIA, AA, ecology, landscape, heritage and transport. Callum works closely with clients, local authorities, statutory bodies and multidisciplinary design teams. He brings a proactive, detail-focused approach to his work and has a strong interest in sustainable development, compact growth, residential delivery, active travel and placemaking. He is a Graduate Member of the Irish Planning Institute and is committed to continuing professional development.
