James Chilton is a Chartered Town Planner with over 20 years’ experience leading complex planning, tourism, and urban regeneration projects. James has experience in delivering a wide range of county tourism strategies, sectoral tourism plans and strategies, recreation strategies, market research and stakeholder engagement.   

James also has significant national experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams on key placemaking, planning, urban regeneration and economic development projects.  

James has a strong interest in regenerative tourism and is a member of the national Blue Flag Beach jury panel.
