Nuno joined Cunnane Straton Reynolds in November 2023. With 14 years in professional practice, he has been involved in public realm urban design projects, urban parks, restoration of historic gardens, residential masterplans, schools, cycle schemes, private estates and gardens, and regional and municipal landscape strategies. He is trained to work across the scales with multidisciplinary teams and to guide junior professionals in an extended team context. Nuno has a particular interest in nature-based design, seeking opportunities to implement these solutions across a range of project types internationally, in countries such as Portugal, Norway, Italy, Spain, Ireland and Angola. He served as Assistant Professor of Landscape Architecture between 2014-2023 at the School of Sciences, University of Porto, and since 2022 at University College Dublin (UCD) in Ireland. While in Porto he served as member of the board of the Portuguese Historical Gardens Association, with a focus on promoting the recognition and restoration of historic gardens.
