Thorsten is responsible for our Urban Design department. In his work experience as an architect over the last 25 years, Thorsten has focussed on Sustainable Development, Urban Regeneration and Transport Mobility. He is involved in a wide range of projects, from residential, mixed-use & commercial development to urban renewal & infill, retrofitting and adaptive urban reuse. Through this diverse project involvement, Thorsten has developed expertise in applying Town Centre First policy (TCF), the 15 Minute Concept and Low Traffic Neighbourhoods (LTN). He is working closely with public and private clients, multi- disciplinary project teams, stakeholders & communities, and with statutory agencies and applies the principles of Sustainable Development to achieve consensus on economic, social, and environmental benefits. This approach has equipped Thorsten with a skill set for large scale projects while integrating multiple objectives from different disciplines and industries. Thorsten’s expertise in architecture, resource efficiency, feasibility studies and in academic research complements CSR’s core services of land planning and design.
