The proposed Luas Cork has now opened for public consultation.

Luas Cork is a proposed light rail line that will run from Ballincollig to Mahon Point, linking key locations such as MTU, Cork University Hospital, UCC, Cork City Centre, Kent Station, the Docklands, Blackrock and Mahon Point.

Proposed Map

As one of the European Commission’s selected climate-neutral cities, Cork is aiming to reduce its carbon footprint. Luas Cork is intended to play a vital role in this effort by promoting a shift from car use to public transport and active travel.

Before moving ahead with the final design and route selection, TII want to hear views from the public. If you wish to make a submission, the CSR Planning consultancy team are available to advise and assist.

The deadline for submissions is Monday 9th June at 5.30pm.
